Memorial Day Party

Some CCC Members got together for a Memorial Day Barbeque at the Burwell's house.  We had barbequed chicken and hamburgers, and each member brought a sidedish of greenbean salad, cole slaw, beans and deserts.

Before lunch there was a "Little Yellow Rubber Ducky Hunt."  There were 24 yellow duckies dressed as Uncle Sam or in military uniforms that couples had to look for in the Burwell's home, Lanai area and even outside around their property.  They located all of the little duckies in record time!  The couple that found the most duckies were Connie & Sheila (9 total), with three other couples who tied for second place with 5 duckies each.  Here's Connie & Sheila with their prize, 2 tickets to a Charlotte County Redfish game!

When the hunt was over, all 24 little yellow rubber duckies jumped into the pool, most of which we found out couldn't swim!
